At Deluxe Wax Studio, I prefer 3 weeks of hair growth without any shaving, trimming or Nair. The hair needs to be at least 1/4 of an inch. (About the size of a sprinkle)

 •  Facial areas every 2-3 weeks

 •  Underarms every 2-3 weeks

 •  Bikini/Brazilian every 4-5 weeks

 •  Body every 4-6 weeks

Depending on the individual, hair can grow differently. I will recommend when to book at your first reservation.  

 • Exfoliate 24-48 hours before waxing with a gentle scrub

 • Avoid any oils or lotions the day of your wax, in the area being waxed

 • Do not drink caffeine or alcohol at least 2-3 hours before your wax. This can make your skin more sensitive

 • Take a warm shower or bath before your reservation if you can

 • For bikini waxing, wear loose fitting clothes to your reservation

Wax Aftercare Instructions:

Avoid for the first 48 hours: 

• touching the waxed area, exercise that causes excessive sweating, swimming, pools, saunas, hot tubs, sun exposure, makeup ,hot baths and hot showers (lukewarm is okay) friction and tight fitting clothes,  highly fragranced soaps and lotions, tanning beds

After 48 hours:

• Exfoliate 2-3 times per week with bushbalm scrub or zandiland deck scrub
• Moisturize skin and treat daily with bushbalm oil or zandiland polish

Bodycare tips:

• Maintain proper hygiene. Use a fragrance free, mild body wash
• If you struggle with ingrown hairs, add bushbalm roller ball rescue, or starpil ingrown hair spray 2-3 times a week to your routine. These products have stronger exfoliating properties (AHA/BHA) to help treat ingrown hairs.

When you wax consistently, the hair can grow back in slower, finer and  more sparse. When you shave, it cuts the hair at the surface instead of removing the hair - resulting in stubble, more ingrown hairs, razor burn and quicker grow back times. Laser is not guaranteed to work for everyone so results may vary. Those treatments can be very expensive, which makes waxing a better alternative.

I use the best quality of hard wax, that is designed to be used with all skin types. This type of wax is used for facial, bikini and body services - with the exception of legs. 

For legs, I use a roll on wax cartridge. These are new, one time use cartridges that are disposed of after each guest.

All the wax used at Deluxe Wax Studio is vegan and hypoallergenic. 

Facial and body waxing can be started whenever the minor and parent feel comfortable. Parent/guardian consent is required for any waxing for those who are under 18. The parent/guardian must accompany the minor for the first reservation. It is optional being in the studio while service(s) are being performed. 

I got licensed as an Esthetician because of my love for skin-care. I worked at a popular waxing franchisee for over 3 years to perfect my craft. Yes, all services are offered for Male guests with the exception of the intimate areas. Which are - Bikini Line, Bikini Full, Bikini Brazilian, Between the Cheeks, Butt Cheeks and Full Butt. 

Yes, you can still get waxed but you must be able to use a new tampon before your bikini service. Increased sensitivity to heat or discomfort during your wax is possible. 

Yes, you can still get waxed when you are pregnant unless advised otherwise by your doctor. After birth, wait at least 6-8 weeks before getting waxed again. I do recommend to start waxing in the early stages so it gets easier by the time you're in your third trimester. 

Yes, waxing is sanitary! The skin is always cleansed pre-wax to remove any excess oils, sweat, or lotions. Waxing sticks are NEVER double dipped. Barbacide disinfectant is used for all non-porous tools. Medical Grade disinfectant is used on the bed table, surfaces and touch points. New gloves, sticks, cotton and bed paper is used for each guest. The room is completely disinfected In between each guest and there is complimentary hand sanitizer for use at all times. At Deluxe Wax Studio, strict practices are in place to ensure a safe and sanitary environment for everyone.

 Please submit in your check in forms if you are taking any medications or using any topicals. 

• Please wait 3 months to wax If you are using Retin-A, Renova, Differen, Clindamycin, Doxycycline, Tretinoin or any medications similar. This can cause contraindications to waxing due to these medications increasing the rate of exfoliating. 

•Wait at least 2 weeks after getting Botox done to get waxed in that area. 

• You must wait a minimum of (7) days before waxing after a light chemical peel or microdermabrasion. 

 • You can not get waxed if you have taken Accutane within the last (1) year,  has had laser skin resurfacing within the last (1) year, have irritated or sunburned skin. 

Eyebrow lamination is a transformative cosmetic service designed to shape, define, and enhance your brows, giving them a fuller look. We use the best products on the market to perform this service. Here’s how it works:

1. We start by applying a gel that softens and restructures the hair proteins, allowing us to shape and set your eyebrow hairs into a new position. This step takes about 10-15 minutes and prepares your brows for their stunning new look.
2. Next, a Neutralizer Cream is applied to lock your brows into their new shape by reinforcing and setting the restructured hair proteins. This step also takes 10-15 minutes and ensures your brows stay perfectly styled.
3. Finally, we apply a luxurious Regenerating Cream, enriched with Vitamin E and Argan Oil, to nourish and protect your brows. This cream should remain on your brows for 24 hours to maintain their beautiful, healthy look.

Elevate Your Brow Game

For the ultimate brow transformation, consider pairing your lamination with our eyebrow wax and tint or hybrid dye services! This combination not only shapes and defines your brows but also adds rich color and depth.

• This service must be booked out 6-8 weeks apart
• Be gentle with your brows; no rubbing
• Do not wet the eyebrows for at least 24 hours after the treatment.
• Avoid hot baths/showers, saunas, steam rooms, and swimming pools for 24 hours.
• Refrain from wearing eye makeup for 12 hours and use oil-free makeup remover when necessary.
• Avoid touching or rubbing the eye or eyebrow area to prevent irritation.
• Limit exposure to direct sunlight to avoid weakening the perm effect and fading the tint color.
• Avoid using chlorine and certain skincare products, as they may shorten the effects of the perm and tints. 
• Use a clean spoolie or eyebrow brush every day to comb hairs into desired shape. Use a brow gel or brow soap for extra hold.
•  You can use a brow oil daily (such as argan oil or jojoba oil) 48 hours post-treatment to hydrate and condition the brow hairs. 
• Do not put henna on your brows while they are laminated

• Do not wet the eyebrows for at least 24 hours after the treatment
• Avoid aggressive cosmetic treatment (scrubs, peels, alcohol-containing products) and steam
  (baths and saunas).
• Do not use lotions, toners, and creams in the eyebrow area. 

 An eyebrow tint and a hybrid gel dye are both used to color the brows, but they differ in formulation, longevity, and the kind of results they provide. Both can be done in conjunction with a lamination to enhance your brows.

• Eyebrow Tint: We use Intensive Brow Tint, which combines carefully selected ingredients to enhance your brows. It colors the brow hairs and lightly stains the skin. Typically lasts 3-5 days on the skin and 3-4 weeks on the hair. Provides a softer, more natural look. Must have a sufficient amount of brow hairs for the tint to be more effective.

•  Eyebrow Hybrid Gel Dye: We use Bronsun brow dye, a gentle hybrid tint that provides rich, customized vibrant color. It lasts up to 7 days on the skin and 7 weeks on the hair. If you're looking for longer lasting results, a more defined brow shape, or have minimal brow hairs, this is the ideal option for you. 

You are not a good candidate for Eyebrow Lamination if any of these apply:

• Had eyebrow lamination treatment less than 6 weeks ago
• Sunburnt
• Are pregnant or breastfeeding
• Extremely dry or sensitive skin
• Have inflammation in the mucus membranes of the eye area
• Thin or sparse eyebrows
• Allergies to the ingredients used in brow lamination
• Cuts, abrasions, active acne or open wounds on the eyebrow area
• Skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis, or rosacea
• Are using Retin-A, Accutane or other similar acne medications
• Have recently undergone a cosmetic procedure in the brow area, recent henna brows, or recent permanent makeup
• Have eye conditions or have recently had eye surgery

Avoid using AHA/BHA products 7 days prior to your brow lamination service

You are not a good candidate for an Eyebrow Tint / Hybrid Gel Dye if any of these apply:

• Sunburnt
• Are pregnant or breastfeeding
• Have inflammation in the mucus membranes of the eye area
• Allergies to ingredients in brow tint or hair color
• Skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis, or rosacea
• Cuts, abrasions, active acne or open wounds on the eyebrow area
• Are using Retin-A, Accutane or other similar acne medications
• Have recently undergone a cosmetic procedure in the brow area or recent permanent makeup
• Have eye conditions or have recently had eye surgery

If you have sensitive skin or concerned about allergies, we can perform a test patch 48 hours on your forearm prior to service.
